Today Jamaes and I tried "canyoning" where you put on wet suites and waterslide down rivers and canyons. I thought I would absolutely love this but the water was very cold and it hurt my ears. James and the other German fellow loved it though. The German girl and I were less comfortable.
In the afternoon we went "outsiding" down the Soca river. It was the same stretch we had done on river rafts the day before. Outsiding is an inflatable canoe so it was a lot like rafting, only two people and the guide. I liked this a lot more.
We left Bovec this night and drove down though Slovenia and stayed at a place outside of Nova Gorica, where there is the largest stone arch in the world. It was built to for the Austro-Hungarian railroad from Vienna to Trieste that went through LJU.
